High performance of Imaxs BSC LCD includes low power consumption, wide viewing angle, flicker-free image and memory function. Low power consumption is the main strength for BSC LCD, which is only 1/50 power consumption of TFT LCD power usage. No power consumption is required as the image stays on the screen for BSC LCD. In addition, BSC LCD can keep the memory on the display as the power is off.

The paper-like B/W Cholesteric LCD module has been successfully developed with the contrast 12 performance.
Imax expects to have the mass production of color Cholesteric LCD in 4th quarter 2005.
