BNC connectors are designed at normal impedance of 50 ohms and additionally available at 75 ohms impedance, mating is through a two-stud bayone lock coupling. The 50 ohm impedance connector is used in applications with 4GHz (max.) and the 75 ohm impedance one is used in applications with 1GHz (max.).
