With its new camera model in the FixDome casing, MOBOTIX presents a combination of proven network video technology and modern design for indoor applications. Apart from its integrated image storage, microphone, loudspeaker and passive IR sensor, the D10D has two image sensors that can be positioned independently. This allows monitoring two different angles of a room, for example: while one lens focuses on the building's entrance, the other lens keeps an eye on the elevators.
Since every MOBOTIX D10D features two image sensors that can monitor different areas, only half the number of cameras are visible in a typical location. This facilitates integrating the cameras into the concept of a building quite a bit and lets the cameras blend in with well-designed areas, Dr. Hinkel-CEO and founder of MOBOTIX-notes. To further facilitate integrating the camera for planners and architects, the casing of the D10 can be ordered in different colors and materials such as shock-resistant fibre-glass or stainless steel. The camera is easily mounted on the ceiling or on walls.
The MOBOTIX D10D will be available from January 2005 as Indoor model and from April 2005 as weatherproof Outdoor model.
