All Metal vs. Mixture of Metal and Plastic: Our lenses are all-metal
except for the non-cylindrical components in the surface. Other
lenses in the same price range are partly plastic.
-Surface finish: Our lenses are treated with oxidation, which is
standard for the optical instrument. However, others use " painting"
instead of "sand oxidation". The surface turns out with low hardness,
thus fragile and easy to scratch. The result is a much shorter life.
-Processing technology and design standard: Our lenses are
designed following Korean and Japanese standards. Our
manufacturer uses CNC( Computerized Numerical Controlled) lathe
and milling machines, therefore, our housing parts are high-
precision, smooth, and highly finished. However, others use
outdated ordinary lathe and milling machines. The lenses have big
gaps so that they use a lot of "damping grease" to seal the gap. The
main problem is grease will melt in summer and blur the lenses,
which is very hard to clean. Only a special chemical fluid can wash
the grease off.
-Assembling: All of our lenses are assembled in a Clean Room,
which delivers a higher quality lens.
