IR-TEC International Ltd. is founded in 1982 by Mr. Alan Kuo, an experienced,
talented electronic engineer trained by RCA. In November 1986, Mr. Andy Huang
jointed as the marketing director of this electronic security products manufacturing
company in Taiwan. In 1987, we introduced our first Passive Infrared (PIR)
Detector for intruder alarm. From then on, our PIR detectors have been receiving
broad popularity among professional installers in the worldwide security market.
At the same time, the company decided to change its name from previous
"Well & Peace Enterprise Ltd." to IR-TEC International Ltd. to fulfill its commitment
of being the specialist of Infrared Technology.
