M1-1P0, is designed to adopt hybrid cables, embedded copper wires for DDC/HDCP interconnection and fibers for graphic data together in a jacket so that it offers the benefits of sturdy metallic and compact size connectors. For the simplicity of installation, it is utilized +5V DC power of graphic cards to drive both of its transmitting and receiving modules so that it doesn't require a external power adaptor. For just in case, however, its optional model to use an external power adaptor is available. The copper wire connection results in extension limit up to 100m. For over such limitation, disconnecting it, we customize to program the EDID (Extended Display Interface Data) parameters in an EPROM inside the transmitting module to specify user' displays complied with VESA. It enables graphic cards to virtually talk with displays at start-up, so which Opticis calls as vDDC (virtual DDC).
