Fruitron Group Company established in 1986 jointly by the Chairman Mr. Hong Ching Wei and Deputy Chairwoman Ms. Sze Ching Choi.

Manor Electronics is engaged in the manufacture and sale of B/W TV, monochrome cathode ray tubes (CRT), display tubes, glass bulb, TFT, Color TV, CDTV, and CCTV with camera. It becomes a leading electroinc production company of Audio/Video products in Hong Kong sales all over the world. Our export volume of B/W TV was ranked No.1 in the PRC.
During the initial period of establishment, the group mainly specialized in the manufacturing of antenna, loop and electronic parts. With the development of the group, the product mix has been expanded accordingly. In 1988, the group began to produce subminiature black-and-white TV sets through the method of OEM in mainland.
In 1990, the group kicked off the preparation for the production of CRT.
In 1991, in order to reduce production cost, the group purchased a land in Shenzhen and built the workshop for Fruitron Electronics Industrial (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. (located in Henggang Town, Bao'an District, Shenzhen City) in a total area of 14,000 square meters.
In 1992, the group moved into the new workshop in Heng Gang and expanded the manufacturing facilities so as to cater to the increasing market demands. The group has gradually uplifted the demand for tube glass crusts, of which major sources depend heavily on import, since 1992. Considering the matter of manufacturing cost, the group abandoned costly overseas purchase and decided to build glass crust product lines to cut cost instead.
In 1994, the group purchased a 40,000-square-meter land in the Qiaotou Town of Dongguan, China and developed it into an industrial town in two phases. A plant devoted to the production of tube glass crust and two staff dormitories were built during the first phase, while a factory, an office building, three staff dormitories and a senior staff dormitory were set up in the second phase. The TV set production become more concentrated and the throughput was enhanced with lots of up-to-date equipments added. All the projects were completed in 1999.
