1. OVERVIEW
Merry Electronics virtually created Taiwan's acoustics industry when it was founded in 1975, becoming a pioneer in the development and mass-production of speakers and receivers. Over the years, Merry has extended its leadership throughout Asia by establishing branch offices and factories in Taiwan, the Americas, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand, providing better service and support for our valued customers. We are dedicated to being the leader in developing and manufacturing of acoustic products for computers and communication applications, and to being a complete solution provider.

2. OUR HISTORY
Dec 1975 Merry Electronics founded
Aug 1985 Relocated to a new headquarter in Taichung Industrial Park
Nov 1986 Established U.S.A. branch office located in Los Angeles.
Oct 1987 Established Hong Kong branch office
April 1989 Established factory in Shenzhen, China
Established factory in Bangkok, Thailand and relocated to Laem Chabang Industrial Park in 1995.
Sept 1992 Established Shanghai branch office for marketing and R&D
Aug 1993 Winner of the 2nd National Award of Small and Medium Business.
Oct 1993 Merry (Taiwan) - received ISO9001 certification
April 1994 Merry (Shenzhen) - received ISO9002 certification
April 1996 Merry (Thailand) -received ISO9002 certification
Jan 1998 Merry (Taiwan) - received ISO14001 certification
Aug 1998 Merry (Taiwan) - initially trading on the OTC in Taiwan
May 1999 Established Tokyo branch office
Aug 2000 Merry (Taiwan) - Initial public offering on the Taiwan Stock Exchange
Mar 2001 Merry (Taiwan) - received QS9000 certification
April 2001 Merry (Thailand) - received QS9000 certification
Oct 2002 Established factory in Suzhou, China
Feb 2004 Merry (Suzhou) - received ISO9000 certification
