Nextronics Engineering Corp. was established in 1987 as a professional connector company. In 1998, Nextronics became a manufacturer of connectors in variety, including Board-to-board connectors, Power connectors, I/O connector, Terminal Block connectors, and many others. Also in 1998, Nextronics won the Seventh National Award of Small and Medium Enterprises in Taiwan. Nextronics then quickly accomplished Vertical Integration for connectors in September 1999. The connector core competance including tool making, molding, stamping, plating, and assembling.
With the company's increasing demand for higher capacity and lower costs, Nextronics established its first manufacturing facility in Guanzhou, China. Since then, Nextronics' China facility has mainly focusd on connector manufacturing and business.
