Imax holds several world-leading technologies to develop color STN LCD such as video-rate color STN LCD, electronic driving means, and transmissive color STN LCD. In addition to the development of high-duty monochrome STN LCD, we have gained lots of experiences in developing transmissive color STN LCD in a broad range of products.
Recently, Imax-Jsc also has developed low reflective LCD module, and the image can be showed on the panel when the power of backlight is off. Furthermore, a mirror reflective LCD module is developed; the panel can be used as a mirror once the power of backlight is off.
Besides that, we also make our efforts to develop new technology applying to new products. Video-rate color STN LCD has been developed at 30 frame/sec, and animated pictures perform very well on our display screen, which is made more cost-effective in comparison with TFT LCD. An ultra bright technique and several different advanced technologies of color STN LCD are under the development, and the development of TFT LCD module are under the way for marketing needs.
