FTA IRD are professional cost-effective digital satellite
integrated receiver decoders with TS (transport stream)
output from its ASI port, it has lots of field-proven
features, for example, high reliability, exceptional stability
and flexibility. They can effectively receive digital satellite
TV signal, decode and output high-quality audio and video
TV programs, and output two ways TS digital signal
simultaneously via its two ASI output ports for satellite
networks worldwide. With the latest technology in DVB,
and incorporating the powerful single chip STi-5518, so
they are specially designed for cable and satellite network
worldwide operators.
SUNNISKY TS1000CI IRD(ASI port, two CI slot) has
embedded Common Interface which could provide great
support for a wide variety of CA systems, for example,
Conax, CryptoWorks, Irdeto, NDS, Mediaguard,
Nagravision and Viaccess, etc. That is, it could receive
various encrypted DVB-S programs with the help of one
of two PCMCIA CI modules, and PCIMCIA and Smatcard
together to decrypt them as free TS stream signal, then
after re-multiplexer into the same TS stream to output via
its ASI port.
