HD x1000e/d are highly functional video
over IP gateways integrated with HD
CODEC, which are capable of MPEG2
compression up to 160Mbps for transport
of HD video material. HDx1000e/d are
strategic product that is used in
combination with an international
60Mpbs ASI line services, provided by
communications carriers who have
established partnerships with Frontiers,
for services connecting venues around
the world.
HD x1000e/d deliver in one unit both an
HD CODEC and an video over IP
gateway, which traditionally have been
separately procured by broadcast
companies. The HD CODEC, supplied by
a Japanese manufacturer with
established reputation among domestic
broadcast companies, is integrated with a
video over IP gateway supplied by Path
1, a pioneer in Video over IP technology,
to achieve high functionality. HD
x1000e/d are assembled in Japan, using
fans, power supplies, etc. that are made
in Japan, to further improve the
reliability.
HD x1000e/d are delivered in reasonable
price ranges by providing two preset
bandwidths corresponding to user
applications. Furthermore, bandwidth
setting can be changed upon customer
request with optional software. By
upgrading the video over IP gateway,
unicast function can be added, for
simultaneous distribution to up to three
destinations for SDI and up to 32
destinations for ASI.
